The Residence Permit for Investment Activity Programme (Golden Visa) enables citizens of third countries - outside the European Union and the European Economic Area - to obtain a residence permit in Portugal by making qualified investments.
In addition to granting access to the Schengen area, the programme offers the possibility of applying for permanent residency or Portuguese citizenship after five years, provided that one of the investment requirements is maintained throughout this period.
Among the eligible options, investment in qualified funds has emerged as a solid solution aligned with the objectives of the programme. This route requires a minimum investment of €500,000 in collective investment schemes registered and supervised by the CMVM, allowing investors to participate in the financing of strategic sectors of the Portuguese economy.
At BlueCrow, we offer funds eligible for the Golden Visa, with strategies spanning venture capital, private equity, and listed assets. These vehicles are designed to fully comply with the requirements of the programme and to provide investors with a secure, diversified solution managed by experienced teams, aligned with the minimum investment horizon required.
With over 550 Golden Visa investors to date, BlueCrow has a proven track record in structuring and managing eligible funds, providing investors with clear guidance, comprehensive information, and well-organised processes. Our support is designed to ensure that each investment meets the programme’s requirements and is executed with rigour and transparency.
